CBCA 2021

You Will Love These CBCA Book Week 2021 Resources

Each year, since 1945, the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought together children and books to celebrate Book Week. A celebration of Australian authors and illustrators it will be held from August 21st to 27th.

Book Week is a time for schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children to celebrate Australian children's literature.  The best way to celebrate is to hold a Book Week Parade and our fun CBCA Book Week activities will make it easy to provide literacy activities before and after your parade.

We are very excited to present the literary teaching resources for each of the Book Week books below. Our teacher authored Book Week resources are tailored for Primary and Pre-school aged children and are just part of the thousands of downloadable activities here on LearnFromPlay.com.

Each of these Book Week sets includes two free activities for you to use to celebrate Book Week which means even on our free subscription, you are able to download high quality teacher-authored class activities PLUS a beautiful illustrated CBCA 2021 Book Week poster to print off and display in your classroom or library.

We hope you will LOVE our CBCA Book Week 2021 teaching resources. If you do, please share this page with your fellow teachers and librarians and have a fabulous Book Week August 21st - 27th.
