FREE CBCA Book Activities
This week's FREE book activities are based on a teacher's request for more CBCA books. There are only a few left that we haven't released and this is one of them.
One Runaway Rabbit by David Metzenthen and Mairead Murphy is a CBCA shortlisted Young Children’s Book of the Year for 2020. It follows Lulu the rabbit as she escapes from her backyard via a hole in the fence and is almost dinner for a hungry fox. Activities for this book include making shadow puppets, handwriting, rabbit craft, night and day, word matching and simple rabbit maths. These are available as both printed and on-line worksheets plus a maze, memory and puzzle game can be played on-line too.
Make sure you visit the poster section of Learn from Play to see all the inspirational quotes and sayings you can use to brighten your classroom. I am sure you and your students will love this week's additional to the site from Kwen.
