Pandemic

Pandemic by Jackie French is a timely book about the 1920's Spanish flu and Jackie’s Grandmother’s acts of kindness during that time. With illustrations by Bruce Whatley, during 2 weeks in hotel isolation to prevent the spread of Coronavirus-19, this is a beautiful way to teach children that this is not

the first pandemic Australia has faced. There are 6 activities for this book covering the whole of primary school and these include a comprehension on the Spanish Flu, staying safe in a pandemic and Bruce Whatley biro and watercolour artwork.

By watching the video for this book you will also find some ideas for physically active games and an offer to win $50 or a Free Year's Membership.

We Are All Kind

We Are All Kind has a message for everyone about things we can be doing every day to make the world a better place.

The 6 activities for this book are mainly aimed at Pre-school and Kindergarten students with the exception of the poster to end deforestation. Activities include a colour by number, handwriting practice, measuring animals using coloured blocks, a poster on ending deforestation, matching pairs of rhyming words and an activity to practice sharing.

The video for this book provides some games your students can play and how you can win a Free Premium Membership Subscription or a $50 gift voucher if you are already a member.
