Book Activities for A Human for Kingsley by Gabriel Evans
A 2022 CBCA Notable Early Childhood Book this is a fun story about a dog who decided to find himself a human. With many laughs along the way Kingsley finally find his perfect human, a young girl, although quite a few of her behaviours surprise him – like taking a bath on purpose.
The team at Learn From Play have created 4 activities for this story that are perfect for children from pre-school or kindergarten or their first year at primary school - foundation to Year 2. The activities teach children how to draw a dog like Kingsley, how to look after a dog responsibly, a fun activity to match people to their dogs and an activity to order the events in the story as an exercise in retelling a narrative.
