Bear In Space

Bear in Space is Deborah Abela’s latest book and is a beautiful picture book about making friends without compromising your passion. Deborah created the book based on a picture of a bear she saw Marjorie Crosby-Fairall draw when they were visiting the zoo together. From there they have created a beautiful story with a number of interesting facts thrown in for good measure.

Activities for this book are aimed at Pre-School and Kindergarten children and include matching facts, drawing a rocket ship and laying out the interior, making dot-to-dot space shapes, a hot chocolate handwriting activity as bear’s favourite drink is hot chocolate, identifying basic shapes and an art and craft rocket making activity from our good friends at Clever Patch.

Make sure you watch the video walk through of the activities as there are some fun extra lesson ideas included and the instructions on how to win a free annual subscription so you can access all the Premium resources or a gift voucher if you are already one of our Premium Members whose support we greatly value.
