Book Activities for Betsy Buglove Saves The Bees by Catherine Jacob and Lucy Fleming

This is a bright and colourful book about a little girl, Betsy, who loves bugs more than anything else in the whole world. Betsy is overjoyed when her grandmother gives her a magnifying glass which lets her hear what the bugs are saying and this is turn lets her protect the bees in the garden next door.

We have made 5 activities for this book for children from pre-school to Year 1. They are a rhyming word activity, a handwriting practice activity, a counting legs on bugs activity, instructions to make a bug hotel and an activity to enlarge a bug using a grid.
