Book Activities for Great White Shark by Claire Saxby and Cindy Lane

This CBCA 2022 shortlisted book for new illustrator is a Claire Saxby classic. A combination of fact and story it follows a female great white shark as she finds food, covers large tracks of ocean and gives birth to 6 pups.

The team at Learn From Play have made 5 activities for this story which are instructions for how to draw a great white shark, a comprehension on sharks taken from the back of the book, a food pyramid on what great white sharks eat – which definitely does not include people, instructions to make an origami shark and a graphing activity of shark attacks versus lightning strikes.
