Book Activities for I Am Important by Michelle Lowbeer
I Am Important is written by Michelle Lowbeer and Illustrated by both Carolynn Yoe and Goran Vitanovic. It is the story of a young girl, Katie and Hairy Thought-Buster - a Superhero for young minds. Hairy Thought-Buster busts Katie’s negative thoughts before they become negative beliefs and especially her thoughts that she is not important. This story uses beautiful illustrations and a cartoon superhero to teach young children that just because their parents are often busy or distracted by electronic devices they are still important and very much loved by their parents.
