Book Activities for Naturopolis by Deborah Frenkel and Ingrid Bartkowiak

This 2023 notable Eve Pownall award book is a balance between fiction and non-fiction. It invites children to take a much closer look at the world around them because while things may look empty at first glance there are layers of life everywhere.

The activities for this book are for children of all ages.  From a tracing activity for the youngest of children to researching one of the animals in the book, learning about metaphors and similes and a comprehension about ants.

Games

The games below are advertisement free and will open in a new window. They can be played by children online as many times as they like. The Match Up Memory Card Game will allow children to improve their memory while the Maze Game lets them develop strategy and problem solving skills while having fun. These games will also build children's attention, concentration and focus, visual recognition and short-term memory. Enjoy.
