Rosie's Wheels by Annette Holley

This is Anette Holly's first book and is the factual story of Rosie Attard one of the patients she has helped rehabilitate after an accident.  Rosie was on her way to her Year 12 assembly in 2011, when she was involved in a car accident which left her in a wheelchair.  Written and illustrated to appeal to a young audience it is an uplifting story to show that challenges can be overcome and Rosie has gone on to be a pre-school teacher whom the children love.  Activities for this book include a find-a-word, cross-word, maze, make a numberplate, decorate a wheelchair and spot the difference activity.

The games below are advertisement free and will open in a new window. They can be played by children online as many times as they like. The Match Up Memory Card Game will allow children to improve their memory while the Maze Game lets them develop strategy and problem solving skills while having fun. These games will also build children's attention, concentration and focus, visual recognition and short-term memory. Enjoy.
