Book Activities for Violin and Cello by Catherine Greer Joanna Bartel and Alexander Lau

A clever book about 2 mystery musicians making friends as they try to discover who is playing the instrument next door. The inclusion of a musical score makes this an extra special book for any children who enjoy listening to music or who would benefit from starting to listen to music.

The activities are designed for children from Year 1 to Year 3.  They include labelling a violin and a cello to see what is the same and different about these instruments, a venn diagram to learn about allegro and adagio music, a simple colouring activity to reveal the hidden item and a musically inspired code cracker activity to teach students about musical notes on a treble stave.
